This is intended to be a gathering rather than a typical line-up event to meet Santa. Families will first visit Santa’s Workshop with crafts and activities before moving to Santa’s Studio to meet Santa & Mrs. Claus. A photographer captures some of the experience for your family. The whole experience will be roughly 20 minutes.

Yes, we see this as an opportunity for sibling/family bonding that may not otherwise happen in a high stimulus environment. We do not want to separate families. Keeping in mind, we are centering children with disabilities at this event.

The whole experience, including your own photo taken by our photographer, costs $25. Any remaining funds from this year’s event goes toward setting up next year’s experience.

Please arrive for your scheduled time. If you feel like you need more time to settle, please use the park just down the street before coming to the tavern. We are trying to minimize the number of people in the space at any one time to avoid overwhelming children.

The photo will be sent to the email used in the registration process 1-2 weeks after the event. We will share the photographer’s contact information if you would like to purchase additional images.

You are welcome to take your own photos but we do ask that you do not use flash photography.

We understand that kids get sick or plans have to change. We ask that you cancel your slot if you are unable to attend as soon as possible. Cancellations made up to 5 days before the event will be refunded.

Some children like to know what they are going to experience. Telling a story can help explain what will happen and using visuals can help the child imagine the scene. Autism Little Learners has a wonderful Social Story you can use to set the scene.

We welcome donations to help offset the costs for this event and rely on volunteers for the event. Check the sign-up genius to sign up for a specific time or contact us if there are other ways you think you can support!
